Apple Music Classical App Coming March 28
Apple announced the launch of Apple Music Classical, which Apple claims is the world's largest classical music catalog with a fully optimized search. The subscription-based service is for connoisseurs of classical music who lacked access to a holistic catalog so far.
The app for Apple Music Classical will launch this month after initially being expected to launch last year. The app offers a vast catalog of classical music, which Apple claims are at the highest audio quality, and allows users to "experience many classical favorites in a whole new way with immersive spatial audio."

Apple Music Classical: What's on Offer?
The Apple Music Classical app includes hundreds of curated playlists, thousands of exclusive albums, insightful composer biographies, deep-dive guides for many key works, and intuitive browsing features, apart from many others, Apple said.
Apple said the app contains over 5 million tracks ranging from new releases to celebrated masterpieces, with thousands of exclusive albums. Apple has offered up to 192 KHz/24-bit Hi-Res Lossless quality with thousands of supporting immersive spatial audio.
The app also comes with intuitive search, something that Apple Music has always been criticized for, due to the complexity of the genre. The Apple Music Classical app allows users to search by composer, work, conductor, and catalog number.
Apple Music Classical was announced in 2021 after the company acquired the classical music subscription service, Primephonic.
Apple Music Classical: Availability
The Apple Music Classical app will hit the App Store on March 28. Existing subscribers of Apple Music will be able to download and enjoy the Apple Music Classical app at no additional cost.
The app is available for pre-order. Although, it only seems to be available for iPhones presently and not for iPads. Upon pre-ordering, the app will automatically download after its release.
The app requires iOS 15.4 or later versions and any Apple Music subscription other than the Apple Music Voice Plan. The service will be available in all regions where Apple Music exists except in China, Japan, Korea, Russia, Taiwan, Turkey, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
