Google halts Duo V30 update due to a call bug

Google has recently been rolling out a number of updates for its devices and however, not all releases are perfect. One such example is the update of Google Duo V30 for which the company has paused the V30 update. As per some sources on the internet, Google has stopped rolling out the version 30 update due to some call bug which is impacting the performance of the app and is causing low call volume issue.

Some reports from Beebom suggests that the lead engineer for Google Duo Justin Uberti took it to Twitter to reveal that the bug is creating a low call volume issue which is hampering the performance of the app and is the main reason due to which the company has stopped the roll out the update altogether. The report further mentioned Justin Uberti's comment on the issue which stated that "Some Android users have reported low volume levels on calls with Google Duo v300.We have paused the rollout of v30 for now and are in the process of rolling out affected Android users back to v29.2. If you hit this issue, you can resolve by updating to the latest v29.2 version, he further added.
