Google Photos Private Chat Feature Lets You Share Photos And Videos Easily

It looks like Google just cannot be without adding new features to its products and services. The latest update that the company is about a new feature that is all set to be rolled out to the Photos app. Well, this feature will be available on both the mobile app and web platform.

Google has taken to Twitter to announce that it is rolling out a new chat feature to Google Photos. With this feature, users can share individual photos and videos they saved in the app with their contacts in an easy and quick way. And, there will be no need to create a separate shared album to share the photos and videos.

The new feature that has been added to Google Photos will make it easy to use the app. All you need to do is just open the app and choose the image you want to share. Once it is done, you just have to click on the option "send in Google Photos", which appears on the screen.

On hitting this option, you will be prompted to choose contact with whom you want to share the image or video. Also, you will be able to send a direct message to the contact. Notably, Google Photos will let you choose multiple recipients or start a group.

Do note that this feature is available only to those who have a Google account. They need to be signed in to the account to send or receive messages within the Google Photos app. And, the company has clarified that this private chat feature rolled out by Google is not meant to rival the other chat apps but to improve the sharing experience of users.
