Instagram Update Finally Lets You Bookmark Posts

While browsing through your Instagram feed, you must have come across some nice, outrageous, or even a hilarious photo only to lose track of it. Besides, the feed keeps being updated with new materials.
WhatsApp Might Soon Allow Users to Edit and Revoke Sent Messages
So, wouldn't it be great if Instagram had a feature to save and view the images later?
Well, good news for all the Instagrammers! A brand-new Instagram feature which was announced on Wednesday will now let you bookmark your favorite photos and videos as well. You can add them to a folder where all the posts will be saved.
As such, the bookmark feature will now make it easier to find the images later on.
It can also be noted that this is the latest feature Instagram has borrowed from other social networks. Earlier the photo and video sharing platform had introduced a feature call Stories which was similar to Snapchat Stories.
Three new features such as creating boomerang, mentions, and verified accounts were also added to the Instagram Stories.
Apart from the stories feature, Instagram also recently introduced a feature that lets you like comments by hitting the small 'heart-shaped' icon next to the comment. Further, you can also completely disable comments from your posts.

And there is more, taking inspiration from Facebook live, Instagram may soon roll out a tool that will allow you to broadcast live to all your followers.
In any case, if you want to start saving those photos and videos, first you just have to find that special post. Then look for an icon of a bookmark under the post on the right side. Tap the icon to save it. If you want to view your saved posts then tap the profile icon on the bottom right of the app, then select the bookmark icon.
Anyone with the Instagram 10.2 update on iOS or Android or Windows 10 can start saving photos. And one more thing, you don't have to worry because no one will be able to see your saved posts besides you.
Nonetheless, with the addition of new features, it will help Instagram to better position itself against other social media competitors.
