Currently iOS 8 account for 19 percent of devices while earlier versions of apple account for less than 7 percent. The adoption rate for iOS 9 is the fastest adoption for an OS when it came to Apple mobile devices. The best part about the update is that it requires much less space in comparison to other updates. Therefore, users are not required to free-up too much space on their devices
While there were initially a couple of bugs, they have been fixed with updates from Apple. In comparison, iOS 8 saw a much slower adoption rate. The adoption rates are calculated based on usage of Apple App store.
