Patanjali’s Kimbho app to be relaunched on August 27
Kimbho app to come back with improvements.
Kimbho, the desi messaging app has been creating a lot of buzz lately. Sadly, the app was taken down from the Google Play Store the very same day it was launched. Now, the app has been relaunched and will be rolled out later this month.
As per a recent announcement by Acharya Balkrishna, the Managing Director at Patanjali, the Kimbho app will be launched with new and advanced features in the last week of this month. He has taken to Twitter to reveal that the Kimbho app will be relaunched on August 27 at an event in New Delhi. The Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will be present at the launch event.
The desi messaging app will be improved and will get the existing flaws fixed in the relaunched version. Even the image along with the tweet touts that the app will have new and advanced features. It claims that there may be some shortcomings with the new app and users are welcome to give their comments and feedback.
What we know about Kimbho app
Kimbho is a WhatsApp competitor launched by Patanjali. The app witnessed issues on the first day of its launch. There were reports that it is fake as some basic features were missing. Some users were facing issues such as poor call connectivity and failure to deliver messages. Also, most parts of the app remained unusable. The app was taken down as there were rip-offs using its name.
Later, Patanjali issued a statement saying that the app was just a trial run and will come back again soon after the technical issues are resolved. In June, the company revealed that it will take around two months of time to fix the issues in the Kimbho app and relaunch the same. As per their schedule, the app is all set to be launched for the second time later this month.
If you are interested in using this app, you can give it a try by installing the app from Google Play Store. However, you might not be able to use all the features and experience the improvements until the relaunch slated for August 27.
