Truecaller today announced that the company has reached a new milestone as a mobile in-app publisher, achieving a record 200 million impressions in a single day.
The daily impression rate on Truecaller's in-app advertising platform has increased by over 300% in the previous year. This outstanding growth is the result of Truecaller's innovation as a one-stop solution for communication, payments, and now, brand engagement. Real estate on Truecaller has appreciated to the extent that over 70% of existing advertisers have decided to continue to invest in Truecaller's mobile advertising inventory.
The platform's direct-to-consumer connect has generated interest among brands across the spectrum of FMCG, consumer electronics, and automobiles from brands like Mondelēz, Samsung, Himalayan and Maruti to name a few.
"This is a fantastic milestone for Truecaller, and this shows that the mobile ad ecosystem has an incredible potential in India. Meanwhile, Truecaller has recently announced its integration with Google Duo, which allows users to make video calls directly through the Truecaller app on both Android and iOS platforms. With this new feature users of the app will be able to make high-quality video calling.
This update let lets users start a Duo video call with a single tap within the Truecaller app, and switches between Wi-Fi and cellular data seamlessly for uninterrupted conversation on-the-go.
