STK Explorer Camera with Underwater Shooting capabilities launched at Rs 12,499

    STK has now launched first explorer camera in India which can supposedly withstand the rigours of extreme outdoor shooting conditions. The company is also bundling in a tough waterproof case, probably made out of silicon for using the Action camera in underwater shoots (upto 30m).

    The all new Explorer Action Camera from STK comes with a Full HD (1080p) video recording capabilities thanks to the 12MP sensor. The sensor comes with a 170 degree wide angle 6G lens with a burst mode capability of 3 photos in 1.5 secs.

    With the modestly larger 900mAH battery on the inside the STK weighs up at just 58gms. According to the company the STK Action camera can deliver 90 minutes of standby time. The action camera can be used directly from your smartphone via Wi-Fi. This would enable you to use the smartphone as Viewfinder for viewing the live streams directly from the camera. The STK Explorer camera comes with a Wi-Fi Direct feature that lets you transfer photos and videos instantly with the mobile app for iOS and Android.

    The STK Explorer camera comes with a number of features including several mounting options such as helmet mount (will fix the camera on any helmet), handlebar mount (will fix the camera on the handlebar of the cycle).
