7 inch Android ICS Vinci Tab 2 review

Vinci has released yet another new tablet Vinci Tab 2 following the success of its predecessor model. As per the company sources, Vinci Tab 2 will have some interesting specifications to make it a favourite one among kids. This one has a unique distinction of being the only tablet available in the market with child safety certification.

The 7 inch tablet Vinci Tab 2 has a pretty reasonable resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. This capacitive backlit LCD screen is expected to offer convenience to users while accessing options and performing actions on the tablet.

Along with an internal storage memory of 8 GB, the tablet has options for flash and memory card too. The microSD card will help to external storage support as well. You have options to transfer your data and also back up it with the help of USB 2.0 port.

A Cortex A8 processor of 1.2GHz clock speed powers Vinci Tab 2. However the Android OS version included in this tablet is still not confirmed. Users are hoping that it would be Ice Cream Sandwich version.

Talking about the pre-configured content, it has premium educational apps, which come in three levels from basic to advanced level. This educational content would include few samples, animated music videos and also interactive storybooks.

Vinci Tab 2 has an integrated camera of 3 megapixels to help you capture your funny and precious moments. Battery back-up also seems pretty good for tablet to have about 8 hours of working time with a fully charged battery. You can have option to for a tablet with and without Wifi support. There is a slight variation in the price too.

Vinci Tab 2 is out in the tablet market in an attractive red colour. You can purchase a Vinci Tab 2 with all specifications by spending around Rs. 13,000/-. However, if you need only a non WiFi model, then you need to spend less, which is around little more than Rs. 10,000/-.

Vinci seems to have reworked their pricing strategy to make it better for targeting kids segment. The new tablet pricing is quite affordable compared to its previous model which costed around Rs. 20,000/- to Rs. 25,000/-.
