T-Pad IS701C has a 7 inch capacitive multi-touch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The tablet is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor. IS701C has a 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 32 GB.

Penta T-Pad IS701C is a Wi-Fi Android tablet that has a 3G USB dongle support. It has a 0.3 MP front facing camera, a micro USB port and a USB 2.0 port. Pantel claims that the device has a powerful battery that offers 6 hours of backup.

Moreover, the tablet has a SIM card slot and comes packed with bundled BSNL plans, hence, it supports voice calling feature, which makes it advantagious as compared to UbiSlate 7Ci.

This week, with the official launch – Aakash 2 tablet has definitely created shocking waves in the tech arena by debuting at a subsidised price of Rs 1,130 for students. Also, commercial version of the tablet dubbed as UbiSlate 7Ci is priced very economically at Rs 4,499.
