Also, on Tuesday, Sonny Dickson, an Australian tech writer, tweeted pictures of what he said was the iPad mini, showing a device with half the size of a standard iPad along with a Lightning connector.
He also posted a few images of the device via Instagram showing the new Lighting connector dock on the iPad Mini. Unfortunately, it appears that Dickson was only able to snag the back panel, just like everyone else.
