While the new tablet does not look much different from the other Windows 8 tablets, but it surely comes with a 'USP.' That is, the slew of accessories which Microsoft has revealed and will accompanying the Surface tablet line. Its accessories include the 3 mm Touch Cover which uses unique pressure-sensitive technology, to sense keystrokes as gestures, enabling the users to touch type significantly faster than with an on-screen keyboard. 

Also, there is a 5 mm-thin Type Cover with which users can enjoy the experience of moving keys for a more traditional typing feel with the full tactile keyboard --Type Cover. 

There is also a built-in kickstand that will let the users convert the device from active use to passive consumption - watching a movie or even using the HD front- or rear-facing video cameras. Lastly, the Surface will also arrive with a pen and a feature called "Pen with Palm Block" in which the screen will take stylus/pen input and will operate without the image on the screen moving as the stylus moves. Meaning when the pen tip is touching the screen, it would ignore the touch of the palm and the fingers.
