Google Nest Mini With Hindi Language Support Launched For Rs. 4,499
Google Nest, over the past few years, has been growing its user base globally. The Google Nest Mini has come to India via Flipkart for Rs. 4,499. The new Nest Mini was launched alongside the Pixel 4 lineup last month. The smart speaker comes as the successor to the Google Home Mini 2017 and even bears resemblance in design.

Google Nest Mini Features
Google claims that the new Nest Mini performs better than its predecessors. For one, the new smart speaker is believed to have better audio prowess and two times stronger bass than the first generation Google Home Mini. Google is believed to have enhanced the custom driver to improve the bass output. The company has also packed proprietary tuning software for better sound output.
Besides, the smart speaker comes with a new intercom feature, which allows users to answer calls from their smartphone or other smart speakers connected to the same network. It can also be paired with other devices to experience surround sound system. The Nest Mini lights up when a hand is placed close to the device and can be controlled to change the volume and soundtracks.
The smart speaker is integrated with music streaming services like YouTube Music, Spotify, Gaana, JioSaavn, and Wynk. Particularly with Gaana, Google has packed the entire catalog with ads-free music. The Google Nest Mini includes a third microphone and a dedicated chip for machine learning. The smart speaker works with the Google Assistant, which supports both Hindi and English.

Google Nest Mini Price, Availability
Google has priced the Nest Mini for Rs. 4,499 and will be available on Flipkart solely. The search giant has released only two color variants: chalk and charcoal. Coral and light blue color options are currently unavailable in the country. Flipkart is currently offering certain bank offers for the Nest Mini, with up to 10 percent discount.
Google Nest Mini Competes With Amazon Echo Dot
The Indian market is at a trending point for smart home speakers. The launch of the Google Nest Mini comes in competition with Amazon's Echo Dot. The recent Amazon Great Indian Sale saw a leap in the number of Echo smart speakers sold on the platform. Amazon is currently selling the third-generation of the Echo Dot in India, which is priced at Rs. 2,999.
The more expensive Google Nest Mini with nearly twice the price will have a challenge in the Indian market. However, Google also has some plus points like the wall mounting feature that could further enhance the interior design of the home. The Nest mini also has integration with Philips Hue, Syska, and more.
