It has gradually expanded from the core smartphone and electronics category to lifestyle products. Eventually, its product portfolio includes home appliances, travel products, smart products, and everyday items.

Of late, Xiaomi has been launching some unusual products in its home market China. The latest offering that it has launched in China is the Xiaomi Fish Tank. What's interesting is that this fish tank can be powered by a power bank. Well, you read it right!

Xiaomi Fish Tank is priced at 299 RMB (approx. Rs. 3,100). The design of this fish tank is quite unique, unlike other common fish tanks. It ensures that buyers do not have to change the water in the fish tank quite often. Well, this product from Xiaomi is capable of removing nitrates and other waste automatically from the water.

Besides this, there is no need to take the lid of the fish tank off to feed the fish in it. As per a report by Gizchina, the Xiaomi Fish Tank features an adjustment knob on its lid to feed the fish. This knob helps maintain the oxygen level within the tank.

This fish tank from the stable of Xiaomi comes with a proper aquatic plant. The tank's design strikes a balance between nurturing the fish and watering the plant. It uses the Siphon principle to nurture the aquatic plant with water vapors.

What's Smart About Xiaomi Fish Tank!

Well, the Xiaomi Fish Tank is powered by electricity to keep the important functionalities working. But if there is no power, then this fish tank can be powered by a power bank. There is a simple one-button design and users can just push this button to remove the water.

There is a four-stage filtration including volcanic stone and magnetic ring stone. Moreover, Xiaomi has added activated carbon to the filtration process to kill bacteria in the water. The filter system features an upper filter cloth and a biochemical cotton layer at the bottom.

Given that the Xiaomi Fish Tank is now official in the company's home market China, there is no word regarding when we can expect the same to be launched in India and other global markets. And, we are yet to see how this product will be perceived by buyers.
