Xbox One TV Tuner Now Available in the US and Canada

Microsoft today announced that its Xbox One Digital TV Tune is now available for purchase in the US and Canada.

This special digital TV tuner for Xbox One that will let home console owners to watch local broadcast channels from Microsoft's Xbox One.

The Xbox One Digital TV Tuner is manufactured by Hauppage and links with any HDTV broadcast antenna to give you over-the-air-television. The Digital TV Tuner for Xbox One plus Mohu Leaf 50 antenna retails for $100 on its website. A standalone tuner will cost users a mere $59.99 on Microsoft's official site.

Once connected, pause up to 30 minutes of live TV, watch TV on the right side of your screen while playing games with Snap, and navigate channels using Kinect voice controls. In addition, users can stream over-the-air TV to other devices within the home using the Xbox app on Windows 10 devices or the Xbox One SmartGlass app on Windows, Windows Phone, iOS and Android, even while someone else is playing a game on Xbox One.
