The ASUS ROG Ally in India Could Come With a Steep Price Tag

ASUS recently unveiled the ROG Ally in various markets and is now gearing up to introduce its inaugural handheld gaming console in India. While ASUS has yet to officially confirm the exact date, it seems that the launch is imminent.

Leaked information suggests that the Taiwan-based tech giant is planning to release the new gaming console in India as early as next month. While we eagerly await official confirmation, MX2 Games, a prominent online retailer specializing in gaming devices and accessories, has divulged the launch date, price, and additional details about the ROG Ally.

ASUS ROG Ally Could Launch Soon in India

According to the listing, the ROG Ally is set to make its debut in India on June 13. The listing also reveals the prices for both the standard and extreme versions of the console, indicating that the handheld device comes with a hefty price tag.

The listing specifies that the ROG Ally, powered by the AMD Ryzen Z1 processor, will be available at a significant cost of ₹71,999 (approximately $875). On the other hand, the more advanced variant featuring the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor is expected to carry a price tag of ₹79,999 (approximately $973).

Unfortunately, it remains unclear whether both variants will be launched simultaneously on June 13 or if they will be released separately.

ASUS ROG Ally Is Considerably More Expensive in India

Initially, the handheld console was priced at $599 for the base Ryzen Z1 variant, which is approximately equivalent to ₹49,200. In contrast, the Z1 Extreme variant was sold for $699, roughly translating to ₹57,400.
