LeEco EcoTV Super3 Max65, Super3 X65 and Super3 X55 Super TVs launched in India

A few months after entering into the smartphone market in India, LeEco has now entered smart TV market with the launch of its content integrated Ecosystem TVs.

LeEco Super3 Max65, Super3 X65 and X55 Super TVs launched in India

The Chinese tech conglomerate announced EcoTV Super3 Max65, Super3 X65 and Super3 X55 TVs in India to pits against the likes of Samsung, LG and Sony smart TVs. The company recently acquired the US budget TV-maker Vizio for $2 billion, and is looking to 'disrupt' the smart TV segment.

The USP of LeEco TVs is that these come with the company's content services in India. The smart TVs come for a price tag starting at Rs 59,790.

Specs and features:

Speaking of the features, the LeEco Super3 Max65 is the most premium model that supports 3D features. The flagship TV is priced at Rs 1,49,790 in India.

The company claims that "its polarized 3D feature will eliminate the major discomforts such as blurring and dizziness, which users usually face while watching 3D content." It has a 65-inch 4K UHD 3D display, is powered by a Cortex A17 quad-core 1.5GHz processor with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage.

It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop based EUI5.5TV OS, and features has 40W 2.1 stereo speakers. Buyers get 3D glasses with the TV.

The LeTV Super3 X65 smartphone has similar specs as the Max65. The key difference between the two TVs is 3D display, which is missing from the X65. It is priced at Rs 99,790.

The LeTV Super3 X55, on the other hand, is the most affordable TV among the three launched today. It comes with a 55-inch 4K UHD display, is powered by a Cortex A17 quad-core 1.5GHz processor with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It runs EUI5.5TV OS and is priced at Rs 59,790 in India.

All three smart TVs come with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, three HDMI ports and two USB 3.0 ports. Other features include Dolby stereo speakers. LeEco is offering a special remote control with the TVs which is named as 'Super Remote Control 3.0'.

It understands voice commands as it has built-in microphone. It also has built-in dual mic for voice recognition capability. The LeEco TVs can also be controlled using LeEco smartphones. It has motion sensor that allow users to control the TV through gestures.

Content subscription:

LeEco is offering content services with the new TVs. It will provide all the content services, including content from Eros Now, YuppTV and Hungama, that were launched for its smartphones. Users can subscribe to the company's Le membership, to enjoy content worth Rs 4,900 for the first year.

LeEco TVs will go on sale on Flipkart and LeMall.com from August 10 to August 12. LeEco is offering 2 years of product warranty and 4 years of display warranty. And there is a special Rs 5,000 cashback for HDFC customers.
