Check for the Internet Connection
To place a WhatsApp video call to a friend, the internet is the most important aspect. With the poor connection, it might be a really difficult task to place a video call, as it consumes a lot of your mobile data.
Your Contact Should Have Update their WhatsApp
To make a WhatsApp video call, updating to the 2.16.318 version on your smartphone. Also, ensure the person you're contacting should have upgraded their WhatsApp version, in case they have an older version, making a call to them is difficult.
Poor Connection of the Person You're Calling
If the contact you're trying to call has a poor network connectivity, and you have a good connection, the call fails. Having a good connectivity at both ends is mandatory.
Video Calling Works Only With Beta Version
This newly initiated feature is not yet brought about with the official WhatsApp app and is just available with the beta version. So, in case you're not able to get the feature even after updating your app, all you need to do is upgrade to the beta version.
