The Xiaomi 15 series is set to make its debut in China later today. The line-up will include the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. The Xiaomi 15 series will debut as the first smartphones to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Apart from the Xiaomi 15 series, the brand is also unveiling the Xiaomi Pad 7 series, Watch S4, and Band 9 Pro. Moreover, it is also expected to showcase a high-end electric scooter series, Wi-Fi 7 routers, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra EV, and more. Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 will also make its debut at the event.

Xiaomi 15 Series Launch and Expected Pricing
The Xiaomi 15 series launch event is taking place in China at 07:00 pm local time or 04:30 pm IST. The launch event can be watched live on Xiaomi's official Weibo handle. You can also expect the smartphone maker to stream the event live on its official website in China.
According to company officials, the Xiaomi 15 series is set to get a price hike. Reports suggest that the Xiaomi 15 could cost CNY 4,599 (roughly Rs 54,400) for the base model, while the Xiaomi 15 Pro's price could start from CNY 5,299 (roughly Rs 62,700).
Xiaomi 15 Series Specifications
The Xiaomi 15 series is set to debut with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, offering up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a maximum of 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. Battery capacity will vary, with the standard Xiaomi 15 model featuring a 5,500 mAh cell and the Pro model likely equipped with a 6,000 mAh battery.

Both models are expected to support 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the Pro version could boost wireless speeds up to 80W. The series will feature LTPO OLED displays with adaptive 120Hz refresh rates, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support. The Xiaomi 15 will have a flat display, while the Pro will sport a Quad Micro Curved design.
Camera capabilities are a highlight, with both models featuring three 50MP lenses for main, ultrawide, and telephoto (3.2x optical zoom) shots, while the Pro may include a periscope lens with 5x optical zoom. Developed in collaboration with Leica, these cameras promise exceptional quality. The series will also feature a 32MP front camera and IP68 dust and water resistance.
