Airtel offers up to 1000GB extra data to broadband users: Here’s how you can get it

Airtel has come up with a new limited period offer, which will entice its broadband subscribers. This new offer is dubbed Airtel Big Byte Offer and it offers up to 1000GB of free data to the users. This offer was introduced in May last year with a validity of March 31, 2018. Now, the offer stands extended until October 2018.

Under the Airtel Big Byte Offer, the telco offers 500GB to 1000GB additional data for those who have subscribers to the monthly rental plans starting Rs. 699 and going up to Rs. 1,799 in Mumbai. Likewise, in Delhi, the broadband plans ranging from Rs. 899 to Rs. 1,299 are eligible for this free data offer. The additional data, which Airtel offers will have the same speed as the base plan and will range from 40Mbps to 100Mbps.

Going by the official Airtel website's listing of the broadband plans, the Rs. 699 plan offers 40GB data at 40Mbps speed and 500GB bonus data. This means, if the 40GB data is over, then the bonus data will be used till the next billing cycle. However, if you do not use up the bundled data, then the bonus data cannot be used. Likewise, the Rs. 849 plan will have 55GB bundled data and 750GB of bonus data. The Rs. 1,099 and Rs. 1,799 plans offer 100GB bundled data at 100Mbps speed and 1000GB bonus data.

Airtel offers 1GB data for 28 days at Rs. 65

Those subscribers who have joined Airtel's DSL series on or after June 2017 are eligible for the Airtel Big Byte Offer. And, it is applicable only to those who subscribe to select DSL plans from Airtel. The offer can be availed just via an online purchase and the bonus data is offered along with the base plan quota. In addition to this benefit, users will get one-year of free Amazon Prime subscription along with any Airtel broadband plan.

Over here, you need to choose a plan suiting your needs and enter the details such as your name, contact number, city and building name. You can also call the company's helpdesk for the same. Once this step is complete, you will get the additional data benefits within seven days from the activation of the plan.
