Tata Sky Offering 100Mbps Speed At Rs. 1,100 Per Month: All Details Are Here
Tata Sky is leading the DTH segment, but now it seems that it is planning to expand its reach in the broadband segment as well. In such an effort, the company has revised its broadband plans to offer 100Mbps download speeds. It also seems that the company has revised its plans to challenge JioFiber, Airtel Xstream Fibre, ACT Fibernet, and other internet service providers in India. Here are the plans by the company that must look out for.
Tata Sky Broadband Revised Plans: Details
The company is offering three plans in Mumbai, it starts at Rs.900 and goes up to Rs. 1,100, which offers download speed of 50Mbps to 100Mbps, respectively. However, users can receive more benefits like free router and free installation if they opt for long term plans. Besides, the company is providing discounts on six months' plans. It includes unlimited data, a free router, free installation benefits, and a 10 percent discount on the rental. This also means users have to pay only Rs. 5,940 for six months, instead of Rs. 6,600. Also, if you'll go for an annual subscription, then you'll get a 15 percent discount instead of 10 percent, reports TelecomTalk. According to the report, these plans are even cheaper in Ahmedabad. But, there is a catch. The company has not updated its website yet to reflect the change.
On the other hand, if you compare these plans with Airtel Xsteam, JioFiber, and Hathway, then these broadband plans are high priced. In fact, there are no such benefits which can attract new customers. For the unaware, Airtel at Rs. 799 offers 150GB data, unlimited calls, and STD calls. This includes 100Mbps internet speed. Reliance Jio Fibre is offering 100Mbps speed along with 150GB of data at Rs. 699. Lastly, Hathway Broadband offers 100Mbps unlimited plan for Rs 499. So, we believe that people should for Airtel, JioFiber and Hathway broadband plans if they are looking for more benefits.
