5 exciting features to expect from the upcoming Samsung Chromebook Pro
Samsung is expected to launch a new hybrid machine- the Chromebook Pro with top-of-the line specifications to take on Apple MacBook Pro.
The end of Galaxy Note 7 is definitely a big blow to Samsung's yearly profits, but that doesn't mean it's the closure to company's innovative product lineup. The Korean giant is gearing up to launch a high-end Chromebook, which will take on Apple's ever popular series of notebooks- the MacBook Pro.
As per reports, the upcoming Samsung Chromebook Pro will be the best notebook in the market at the time of its launch (probably next week) and will come loaded with high-end features and top of the line hardware. If you are planning to buy a high-end notebook, we suggest wait for a while as Apple is also launching its next MacBook Pro somewhere around the same time, which will further heat up the competition.

First ever Chromebook with a Stylus
It was Samsung who introduced the first mainstream functional Stylus with its Note series and history might repeat itself with the upcoming Chromebook Pro. The ARM-based Samsung ultrabook is expected be the first device to feature a Wacom active stylus/digitzer.
The new stylus is going to change the way we interact with our notebooks will boost the productivity we derive from our laptops. As per an image by Phandroid, the stylus will have a dedicated port at the right side of the notebook.
Chromebook Pro will be a Hybrid machine
As per the leaked information, the new Chromebook pro features a 360-degree hinge, which will allow the screen to be 'folded' back on itself. It is expected to weight around 1.08kg and just 13.9mm in thickness. The hybrid design will make it easy to perform multimedia and work related tasks with an ease.
Stunning 13 or 12.3-inch Touch Display
Samsung is known for its Super AMOLED panels and the upcoming Samsung Chromebook Pro will new benchmark in Chromebook's lineup. The hybrid machine is expected to feature a 13 or a 12.3-inch touch display with a resolution of 2400 x 1600 pixels. The touch display will also work with stylus and is expected to offer best in class multimedia viewing experience.
Powerful Hardware Underneath
The upcoming Samsung Chromebook Pro is set to be one of the most powerful hybrid devices around. It is expected to run on a six-core Rockchip processor capable of 4K content playback.
The hybrid machine will have 4GB of RAM, 32GB of local storage, and will offer up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge.

The power of Chrome OS and flexibility of Android
As per leaked information, the new Chromebook will run Chrome OS, but will also run Android applications. This is due to Google's recent Play Store expansion to support Chromebook devices.
The new Chromebook Pro will have two USB Type-C ports, a headphone jack, and an SD card slot for connectivity.
