Microsoft has started rolling out the first big update to its latest Windows 10 operating system. The latest update comes with several bug fixes and performance improvements, and interestingly, the much-awaited Microsoft's digital assistant is now available in India.

Windows 10 users in India can get Cortana as a new feature in the latest update. Now you will be able to give command your Windows 10 running devices. The personal digital assistant in India will have Indian voice. The Cortana can now suggest movies playing nearby and book tickets, offer daily horoscope and interestingly take selfie with a simple voice command.

Windows 10: Browser

Microsoft's new web browser - the Microsoft Edge now comes with performance improvements along with tab preview option. The new update allows users to hover over open tabs to get a preview. The browser also got a new ability to sync all the Reading List and Favorites.

Microsoft's Digital Assistant

Indian users can now be able to use Microsoft's digital assistant - Coarana with the latest Windows 10 update. The Cortana can now suggest movies playing nearby and book tickets, offer daily horoscope and interestingly take selfie with a simple voice command. It can track handwritten notes, movie tickets from emails and lot more. It also syncs calls and messages from Windows Phone and also notify missed calls on PC.

Cortana Features

Microsoft has added a Pen to input in its Surface lineup. Windows 10 users can now set reminders or search using their voice or by typing in the Cortana. Now, with the latest update, you can write notes with using a pen and the Cortana tries to recognition what you have written, then perform that action.

Cortana Syncs With Windows Phone

Cortana is also available on Windows phones. The latest update allows users to see calls from their Windows Phones on their Windows 10 PC. Cortana also allows users to compose and send a text messages on their PC using Windows Phone.

Cortana Access Your Mail

Cortana now tracks your emails, on giving permission, looking for plane tickets or the things that your might need to track or get reminder. Microsoft has added a new feature that tracks your mails for movie tickets or event and ask if you want to order an Uber to get to the event in time.

Personalization

Users can customize every bit in the Windows 10. The latest update allows users to select a theme that adds color to the white Title bars that flank apps theme.

Windows Login Screen

Microsoft added its new Windows logo as the default background in the login screen. However, the in the latest update, you can turn off the login background. However, users don't have the ability to the choose login background of their own.

Start Menu Customization

The Windows 10 latest update comes with the ability to adjust sizes in the start menu or the start screen. Icons for each setting add some much-needed context for some options. For instance, the new menu for start menu gives an example of different Live Tiles sizes in the menu.

The latest update adds a third tool to the Memory Manager options in the Windows 10. It will now try to compress things, makes more space for more things when it is necessary.
