Apple MacBook Air 15-Inch to Debut at WWDC 2023: Report
Apple's 15-inch MacBook Air will reportedly be announced at WWDC 2023. The laptop is expected to make its debut alongside the purported Apple mixed reality headset, iOS 17, macOS 14, watchOS 10, and tvOS 17.
MacBook Air 15-inch Launch Timeline
According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the 15-inch MacBook Air will be launched at Apple's annual developer conference, WWDC. This year's conference will commence from June 5, 2023. Earlier rumors hinted at an April launch, which was supposedly pushed to WWDC 2023.

Although Apple hasn't dropped any crumbs about the newest MacBook Air, there's no dearth of rumors surrounding the upcoming laptop. Reports about the 15-inch MacBook Air started coming in as early as 2021. Here's everything we know about the new MacBook Air:

Gurman suggests that the 15-inch MacBook Air will debut with a processor that is "on par" with the M2 chip powering the 13-inch version. The processor is equipped with an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU along with 8GB of RAM.
Additionally, the upcoming laptop will have the same resolution of 3024 x 1964 as the 14-inch MacBook Pro, as seen in the App Store developer logs. According to reports, the MacBook Air 15-inch will sport a 15.5-inch IPS LCD display.
As for the design, we can expect the 15-inch MacBook Air to appear similar to the 13-inch model. The laptop will likely feature a metallic frame. The display will have a notch at the top to house the webcam.
Additionally, the 15-inch MacBook Air will reportedly include two USB Type-C ports and a 3.5mm audio jack. As for the operating system, the device could ship with macOS 14, which will be unveiled at this year's WWDC.
Gurman adds that Apple is betting big on the upcoming 15-inch MacBook Air, hoping it will give a boost to the declining laptop sales. There's still no word on the price range of the new MacBook Air.
