Apple’s move to hold back on a complete overhaul may disappoint some users, but it’s clear the company is saving its biggest upgrades for the following year.
The 2026 Redesign: OLED Display and a Sleeker Form Factor
One of the most anticipated features of the 2026 MacBook Pro is the switch from mini-LED to OLED displays, a technology shift Apple recently introduced with the M4 iPad Pro. This Tandem OLED technology features stacked layers of red, green, and blue organic light-emitting diodes, promising improved brightness and energy efficiency.
