iPad Pro 2024 Launched in India with Custom M4 Chip, 120Hz Retina XDR OLED Display

Apple has finally made the shift to OLED screens with the new iPad Pro 2024 models. The new 13-inch and 11-inch iPad Pros were recently unveiled at the company's latest 'Let Loose' event alongside the iPad Air, M4 chipset, and other iPad accessories.

The new iPad Pro OLED models are now thinner than ever and are equipped with more powerful hardware courtesy of the new M4 chipset, Apple's latest silicon.

iPad Pro 2024 Pricing

The 11-inch iPad Pro OLED features a starting price of $999 (roughly Rs 83,400), while the new 13-inch iPad Pro OLED will set you back at least $1,299 (roughly Rs 1,08,450). The new iPad Pro models come with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB of storage.

The 11-inch iPad Pro 2024 price in India starts from 99,900 for the Wi-Fi variant and Rs 1,19,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. Additionally, the 13-inch iPad Pro OLED price in India starts from 1,29,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 1,49,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model.

iPad Pro OLED Specifications, Features

The star on the show on the new iPad Pro 2024 models is undoubtedly the new OLED panel, which Apple is calling the Ultra Retina XDR display. The screen also supports ProMotion technology, which is a fancy way of saying it offers a 120Hz refresh rate.

Another major upgrade to the iPad Pro OLED models is the new M4 chipset, which is 50% faster than the M2 SoC used on the previous generation. Apple also claims that the new M4 chip can deliver the same performance as the M2 SoC, while consuming half the power.

Additionally, the tech giant also claims that thermal performance on the iPad Pro OLED is also improved by 20%. The M4's Neural Engine also brings improved on-device AI performance. The iPad Pro OLED runs iPadOS 17 out of the box.

For optics, the iPad Pro OLED models feature a 12 MP primary camera sensor, a 10 MP ultrawide camera, and a LiDAR scanner. The 12 MP ultrawide front camera has been swapped to landscape position and supports Face ID and Center Stage.
