Microsoft Surface Pro 3 with Intel Core i3, 128GB memory launched in India at Rs 73,990
Microsoft has today launched their Surface Pro 3 2-in-1 in India alongside the Surface Pro 4 at an event in Delhi. Introduced back in 2014, the Surface Pro 3 is still a top draw when it comes to buying a portable yet powerful Windows tablet.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 sports a 12 inch ClearType Full HD Plus (2160x1440p) display upfront. Under the hood the portable slate is powered by a 4th gen Intel Core i3 processor and 4GB of RAM. Storage wise the Surface Pro 3 comes with 128GB of on-board memory.

As expected from any Surface branded device the Pro 3 comes with a Pen which comes with 256 level of pressure sensitivity. Coming to the cameras the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a 5MP rear and 5MP front facing snappers. It worth noting that both the cameras are capable of recording Full HD (1080p) videos.
In terms of connectivity the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, Full Size USB 3.0. micro SD card reader. 3.5mm headphone jack, Mini Display port and charging port. Beside that Surface Pro 3 also comes with a Cover port which is used for docking the tablet to its keyboard case. Furthermore the Redmond giant has included a built-in front and rear facing microphones along with Stereo Speakers with Dolby Atmos sound quality. To power the 12 inch slate is a 5547mAh battery.

As of now it seems that Microsoft won't be launching other variants of the Surface Pro 3 in India. The Intel i3 powered 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is exclusively available in India via Amazon.in at Rs 73,990. Microsoft has started pre-orders of the device starting today with the first round of shipping starting January 14th. It however worth mentioning that the Type Cover and the Surface Pen won't be present in the box and has to be bought separately at Rs 12,490 and Rs 5,990 respectively.
