Celkon Campus A10, Signature Swift A112 And Monalisa 5: Three Budget Android Handsets Launched

Hyderabad based Celkon mobile has launched their three latest handsets against most of the domestic devices coming from Lava, Micromax and other notable manufacturers. The first one is called Campus A10 comes at the price of Rs. 4,299 and comes with a free back case. The device can be seen as an entry level smartphone while the other two: the Signature Swift A112 and the Monalisa 5 are priced at Rs. 8,799 and Rs. 10,999 respectively and comes with a free flip cover. These mid range devices are more competitive and will surely be a threat to other desi manufacturers.

Celkon has been releasing a lot of devices into the market lately with the launch of Campus A20, Campus A63 and Celkon A107+ last month. Now they have come up with three more handsets.

Lets have the look at the specs of the highly priced Monalisa 5:

The handset comes with a 4.5-inch capacitive touch screen IPS display offering a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz coupled with 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS.

Moving on to camera, Monalisa 5 features an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and 2MP camera is also fitted on the front face of the smartphone.

When it comes to connectivity, the handset comes loaded with Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support. Apart from that, it includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.

The device houses 4GB (1.71GB internal memory) which can be expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD and it is powered by a 1800 mAh battery.

Monalisa 5 is the best handset among the three and will be battling with devices like Micromax Canvas Music A88, Lava Iris 458q, XoloA800, Huawei Ascend G510 and Xolo Q700.

The entry level handset priced at Rs. 4,299 comes with a 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen display offering a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 256 MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. One can find a 1.3MP Fixed Focus rear camera and 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing shooter as well. It also supports Dual SIM (GSM + WCDMA) with Dual Standby and features connectivity options like 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio with recording. There is a 512 Internal memory (165 MB user memory) which can be expanded up to 32GB with micro SD. It is powered by a 1500 mAh battery.

The entry level handset comes with a 5-inch FWVGA capacitive touch screen display offering a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. There is a 8MP auto-focus camera with LED flash and a 1.3MP front-facing snapper. It also supports Dual SIM (GSM + WCDMA) with Dual Standby and features connectivity options like 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, aGPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. There is a 4GB Internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via micro SD. It is powered by a 2000 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 8,799.

Celkon Campus A20 sports a 4-inch capacitive multi touch screen display that offers a WVGA resolution of 480×800 pixels. The handset is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor coupled with a 256MB RAM and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version. The smartphone houses 3.2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. There is a 512MB internal storage capacity which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. On the connectivity front, besides being a Dual SIM handset, there is 3G support on one of the SIM and 2G on the other. There is a Bluetooth and microUSB support as well. Celkon Campus A20 is eventually powered by a 1500 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 5,299.

Priced at Rs. 4,499 Celkon Campus A63 features 4-inch display offering a resolution of 480x800 pixels. The handset is powered by a dual-core processor clocked to 1.2GHz and there is a presence of 256MB RAM as well. It runs on the on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. While others are coming with a bit older versions. The budget device comes packed with a 3.2MP rear camera along with the front facing VGA camera. Apart from being a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) supported smartphone like other domestic devices, it also supports a regular connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, but lack 3G support. Further, Celkon Campus A63 houses 512MB internal storage capacity which is again expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It is powered by a 1500 mAh battery.

Celkon A107+ sports a 5-inch capacitive touch screen display offering a WVGA resolution of 480×800 pixels. It runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Processor coupled with 512MB RAM. One can also find a standard 8MP auto focus camera with LED flash along with a 1.3MP front-facing VGA camera. There is a Dual SIM capability (GSM + GSM) with Dual Standby, other than this there is a 2G (EDGE), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm audio jack. A107+ Signature One comes packed with 4GB internal storage capacity and a microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB of additional storage. The phablet is powered by a 2100 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 7,299.
