5 UPCOMING Phones Expected to Feature Snapdragon 830 SoC
A couple of years ago, 2GB of RAM on a smartphone was a flagship affair. However, all thanks to the Chinese smartphone manufacturers for disrupting the market by offering phones with 3GB of RAM at affordable prices.
Soon 3GB of RAM became a norm for the entry-level smartphones and premium phone makers had to opt for higher amounts of RAM to differentiate themselves from their Chinese counterparts.
The year 2016 has seen phones launching with 4GB of RAM and even 6GB of RAM (OnePlus 3) thanks to the sophisticated chipsets from Qualcomm, Samsung, and MediaTek.

By now you must have been wondering why I'm talking about RAM when the article is all about Snapdragon 830 SoC.
There's a reason for this. For smartphones to pack such high amounts of RAM there should be an equally powerful chipset to handle them smoothly.
Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 is one such chipset and we can easily expect it's successor, the Snapdragon 830 to be more powerful.

Here's a list of 5 upcoming smartphones that could come with Snapdragon 830 SoC.
Samsung Galaxy S8
Samsung usually launches two variants of its flagships every year, one with the Qualcomm's Snapdragon chipset for the US market and the other with its own Exynos chipset for markets other than the US.
And like every year, we can expect the company's next flagship, possibly called the Galaxy S8 to feature Qualcomm's latest chipset, the Snapdragon 830.
OnePlus 4
OnePlus 3 is easily one of the best phones available in the under-Rs. 30,000 price segment. It's got premium looks and powerful hardware. Yes, I'm talking about the flagship-level Snapdragon 820 SoC (of course, the humongous 6GB of RAM as well).
So, we can safely expect OnePlus's next flagship to come powered with Snapdragon 830 chipset.
Turing Phone Cadenza
Turing claimed to release a smartphone dubbed as Cadenza with two Snapdragon 830 chipsets on it in 2017. We are not sure if the company will actually release this phone ever but if it does, it would be easily the best phone available in the word (on paper, though).
Xiaomi Mi 6
Xiaomi, best known to offer value for money devices launched the Mi 5 this year with the SD820. So, it's likely that its successor will come with Snapdragon 830 when the phone is launched next year.
Microsoft Surface phone
If reports are to be taken seriously, Microsoft's Surface phone which will be launched sometime in 2017 will be powered by SD830 chipset. Rumours also suggest that the Surface phone will pack colossal 8GB of RAM.
