    Acer launched a new 4G enabled selfie-centric smartphone - the Liquid Z630s in the Indian market. The company has joined the ‘Make-in-India' club with its latest Liquid Z series smartphone. It is set to be manufactured at their new facility in Pondicherry.

    Recently, the desi smartphone maker, Micromax has launched its flagship smartphone under its popular Canvas line-up, dubbed as the Canvas 5. The company has tried a new thing in its mobile line-up by providing a leather-like back cover.

    The Acer Liquid Z630s is not exactly a good looking phone, considering that it is pretty big, thick, and heavy. It measures 156.3 x 77.5 x 8.9 mm and weights 162 grams. It looks old-fashioned in terms of design, and feels bulky on hand, which is due to its 4,000mAh battery.

    On the other hand, the Canvas 5 looks nice, feels good on hand, and is comfortable to be used single handedly. The display on front runs almost edge to edge, with very thin bezel on the sides, which adds to the looks of the phone.

    On the storage department, the Liquid Z630s is equipped with 32GB of inbuilt memory, with an expansion option via microSD card. While, the Canvas 5 comes with 16GB of on-board storage, and an option to expand memory using a microSD card up to 64GB.

    The Liquid Z630s flaunts an 8 megapixel auto focus camera with LED Flash, 1080p video recording, and an 8 megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens under the board. On the other hand, the Canvas 5 comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and 5 megapixel front-facing camera with flash.

    Acer Liquid Z630s is packed with a bigger 4,000mAh battery, which the company claims to juice the device for a longer period. While, the Canvas 5 comes with a smaller battery compared to the Liquid Z630s. It comes with a 2,900mAh battery, that is claimed to provide 10 hours of talk time over 3G.

    Acer Liquid Z630s comes at a price of Rs. 10,999 and will be exclusively on Flipkart starting from November 12th. While, the Micromax Canvas 5 comes in Black color variant with metal frame and Tan color with golden frame at a price of Rs. 11,999. It will sell through all retail channels including online and offline stores.

    Acer Liquid Z630S and Micromax Canvas 5 both have similar processors and RAM. In terms of display, the Canvas 5 has better display than the Liquid Z630s, but the Acer's smartphone has larger display than Micromax.

    Well, in the camera department, Canvas 5 has more megapixel than the Liquid Z630s in the primary camera, but Acer holds a better selfie camera with wide-angle lens.
