Android 16 Will Be the Final Major Update for These Vivo and iQOO Devices – Is Yours on the List?

Vivo’s track record with software updates has been strong lately. Last year, the company pushed Android 15 to users faster than anyone else — even beating Google to the punch on Pixel devices. With that in mind, it’s no surprise the brand is already working on Android 16, which will arrive with the new Funtouch OS 16 skin.

While many devices will get the update, for some, it will mark the end of the road in terms of major Android versions. After Android 16, these phones will only get security updates.

The Vivo Phones on the “Final Update” List

The following list, compiled by Gizmochina, is based on Vivo’s current update track record and expected rollout pattern. Vivo hasn’t officially confirmed it yet.

If your device is listed, you’ll still get security patches after Android 16, but you won’t see new OS features or UI changes unless you upgrade.
