Gionee announced the S6 Pro smartphone in China for a price tag of 1,999 Yuan (approx. Rs 20,000). The smartphone is now available for purchase from the official Gionee shop. It comes in Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold color options.

While the highlight of the Gionee S6 Pro is its metal alloy design and huge RAM, there is another smartphone in India with these aspects. Well, the talk is about the newly launched Yu flagship - Yu Yunicorn priced at Rs 12,999.

Aluminum-magnesium alloy unibody design
Both the smartphones come with this premium design that makes them look and feel too good. Also, these phones feature a 2.5D curved glass display on their front giving them the premiumness.
New Helio P10 processor and 4 GB RAM!
The Gionee S6 Pro and Yu Yunicorn, both come with 4 GB RAM for better and efficient multitasking. Furthermore, these smartphones are powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor under their hood.

Gionee has better storage
Yu Yunicorn bundles 32 GB storage, but Gionee S6 Pro has 64 GB of native storage capacity. Anyways, both smartphones support expandable storage up to 128 GB using a micro SD card.

Yunicorn has dual LED flash at its back
The Gionee smartphone features a 13 MP main snapper at its back with LED flash as well as phase detection autofocus. Also, there is an 8 MP front-facer camera for selfies. Yunicorn features a 13 MP main camera sensor at its back with dual LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing selfie shooter.

User Experience Differs
The Gionee smartphone runs on Amigo OS 3.2 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. On the other hand, Yunicorn is based on Android on Steroids - Project Highway that gives a pure Android experience to the users.
Both phones are secure with fingerprint scanner
Both the smartphones come with a fingerprint scanner at the front that lets users unlock the smartphones quickly and keep the devices secured.

Yunicorn's battery is capacious
A 4,000 mAh battery is employed in the Yunicorn and it is claimed to give the smartphone a life of 4 days. In comparison, there is a 3,130 mAh battery in the Gionee S6 Pro, and the backup rendered by this battery is not known for now.
There's a USB Type-C port in Gionee S6 Pro
While the USB Type-C port is missing in the Yunicorn, the Gionee phone comes with this feature that is preferred by many users these days.
