Screenshots are turning out to be more useful than anticipated. A few smartphone vendors have recently baked in a new feature which would allow its users to capture screenshots of scrollable pages. Earlier, this was very limited, users could only capture screenshots of what exactly appears on the screen.
OnePlus 3, the smartphone which is being called as the best mid-range device of the year is the latest smartphone to receive this feature.
Today, in this article, we will walk you through 5 simple steps which will allow you to capture long screenshots whenever you want to. So without any delay, let's get started.
Step 1: Open any scrollable page
In order to capture long screenshots on your OnePlus 3, you'll have to open a scrollable page. It can be anything, a web page or even the Settings page on your smartphone will do.
Step 2: Press volume down and power button
Taking the screenshot itself is a pretty simple affair, all you have to do is to press the volume down and power button simultaneously like you'd do to capture a normal screenshot.
Step 3: Click on the long screenshot button
If you've done the above step correctly, you'll see four options on the bottom of the screen including a share button, edit, long screenshot, delete buttons. Click on the long screenshot button.
Step 4: Wait for it to capture the screenshot
Once you've clicked the screenshot button on the screen, wait for a while, it automatically captures the scrollable page.
Step 5: You can access them from gallery
The long screenshot will be saved in the same folder where the normal ones get stored. You can access them by opening the Gallery > Collections > Screenshot.
Note: This feature is currently available only on the devices running Oxygen OS 3.5 or above. The Oxygen OS 3.5 is currently available as a Community Build which can be downloaded from here.
