Huawei Honor 5A: Here are 5 Features of 4G Phone You Should Know

Huawei has been making rounds in the news since the last week regarding the launch of the Honor 5A smartphone on June 12. Now, the smartphone is official in its homeland China and it is the sequel to the yesteryear model Honor 4A.

The Huawei Honor 5A has been launched in black, blue, white and gold color options. It is priced at 699 Yuan (approx. Rs 7,000) for the standard version. The one that is specific to China Telecom, China Unicom and other networks is priced at 799 Yuan (approx. Rs 8,000).

The Huawei Honor 5A will be made available in China starting from June 17. As of now, there is no word on the global availability of the smartphone, but we can expect it to be launched in the coming months. Now, let us check the features of the Huawei smartphone from below.

Tempered glass protection makes Honor 5A strong

The Honor 5A smartphone boasts a 5.5-inch HD 720p IPS display that is claimed to render 178-degree viewing angle and 1000:1 contrast ratio. Also, the screen is protected with the tempered glass protection that makes the device strong.

Two hardware options are available

The Huawei Honor 5A comes in two versions - one with 1.2 GHz octa-core Kirin 620 processor teamed up with Mali 450 graphics and another one with an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor that is teamed up with Adreno 450 graphics.

Both versions come with 2 GB RAM and there is 16 GB of default storage space that can be expanded up to 128 GB using a micro SD card.

Emotion UI 4.1 on top of Android Marshmallow

The Emotion UI 4.1 tops the Android Marshmallow 6.0 operating system on the Honor 5A. This UI is as intuitive as the UI in the other Huawei smartphones.

Wide-angle camera lenses on both sides

There is a 13 MP main snapper with Sony OmniVision sensor and LED flash at the back of the Honor 5A. This smartphone features f/2.0 aperture and 28 mm wide-angle lens. Also, at the front, there is an 8 MP front-facer with Sony/Hynix BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and 27 wide-angle 4P lens.

4G LTE connectivity is supported

There are connectivity aspects such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and dual-SIM support in the smartphone. There is a 3,100 mAh battery in the device that can keep the smartphone juiced up.
