Intex has launched the Aqua Classic smartphone to cater to the budget conscious consumers who are interesting in buying an Android smartphone, priced under Rs 3000. Domestic tech company, Intex's entry-level smartphone is called Aqua 3G Pro Q and is priced at Rs. 2,999. The phone is listed on the company site with pricing and specification details. The smartphone can be expected to go on sale soon.
The Intex Aqua 3G Pro Q is successor to the company's last year's Aqua 3G Pro, which was launched for Rs. 3,666. For those of you who are interested in knowing about the specifications of the phone, here are the details:
The Aqua 3G Pro Q features a 4-inch WVGA display offering 480x800 pixels giving way to a pixel density of 233PPI. The 4-inch display seems good for its price, considering the standard display size we see in this price category.
Quad-core processing power:
The ultra-affordable smartphone is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731C processor, paired with 512MB of RAM. Speaking of the storage, there is a 4GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card with up to 32GB capacity.
The Intex Aqua Joy sports a 2MP rear facing camera that is fixed-focus, but is supported with LED flash. There is a VGA front-facing snapper with 0.3MP sensor to take care of your selfies.
Speaking of software, the phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with company's own customizations and features on top.
The phone supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) cards, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS, and micro-USB for wireless connectivity. There is support for 3G, but only on one SIM card slot.
