Today, Intex has announced the launch of a new smartphone called Aqua View carrying a price tag of Rs 8,999. The highlight of this smartphone is that it comes bundled with a free Eyelet VR Cardboard as well.

This new smartphone called Intex Aqua View comes in Grey and White, and Champagne color options. Alongside launching this smartphone, Intex forayed into the VR headset segment that is a booming field right now as it also announced the Eyelet VR Cardboard.

Features a 2.5D curved screen
The Intex Aqua View boasts a 5-inch HD IPS 720p display that may sound standard. But, the display is a 2.5D curved screen that makes it simply great to look at. The back cover is highly impressive with a sophisticated look and brushed metal finish.

Houses 2 GB RAM
This new smartphone is equipped with a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor clocked at 1 GHz speed and it is paired with Mali-T720 graphics processor.
There is 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of native storage space as well in this smartphone. The storage can be further expanded up to 32 GB using a micro SD card.

Camera sounds average
The Intex smartphone sports an 8 MP primary camera at its back along with LED flash and an aperture of f/2.2 to capture enough light in the frame. There is a 5 MP front-facing selfie snapper as well on board the Aqua View.
The main camera has various modes like Face Beauty mode, anti-shake, motion tracker mode, Live photo mode and Gesture V capture mode.

A 2,200 mAh battery powers the smartphone from the stable of Intex and it is claimed to give up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 9 days of standby time to the smartphone.
