OnePlus 3 To be Available in India at Rs 27,999 From June 15: All You Need to Know

Carl Pei's OnePlus is all set to launch its next flagship smartphone dubbed as OnePlus 3 in an online VR event tomorrow. Further, the good news is that the smartphone will go on sale without any invites, unlike its predecessor.

In India, this device will be available exclusively via online retailer Amazon India from June 15 at 12:30 AM. However, the recent information is that the company has started importing the smartphones from Hong Kong to India.

As per the Zauba listing, the company has imported 24,480 units of the OnePlus 3 in graphite variant to Chennai, at a price of Rs. 22,858. However, this is not the final pricing version, with import duty and taxing, it may come up to Rs. 25,000.

The upcoming flagship code named OnePlus 3 is expected to don a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The company has upgraded the display from LCD to AMOLED from its predecessor.

Talking about the hardware, the OnePlus 3 is expected to come with the most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC clocked at 2.15GHz, with Adreno 530 as GPU.

In terms of RAM, this device comes with 4GB/6GB LPDDR4 RAM along with 64GB of inbuilt storage. However, this time, also company didn't employ any expandable storage option in the device.

As per the listings, the OnePlus 3 will come with 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C. Also, the device is also expected to come with fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button.
