Karbonn A91 Storm vs Intex Aqua 3G Pro Q: Entry level smartphones at war!
The sub-Rs 5,000 mobile segment now has good variety of options available. A couple of days back, Intex Aqua 3G Pro Q was listed for Rs 2,999 online. Reliance Digital has LYF Flame 5 priced for Rs 3,999. And now, domestic smartphone company, Karbonn mobile has announced its new ultra affordable smartphone, dubbed as Karbonn A91 Storm. The smartphone has been listed on company's official website, but without price details. The phone however is available on Amazon India for a price of Rs 2,899.

Display:
The Karbonn A 91 Storm features a 4-inch WVGA display with 800 x480 pixels resolution, which is also the display size and resolution of the Intex Aqua 3G Pro Q smartphone.

Chipset and storage:
In terms of processor as well, Karbonn's new entry level smartphone as well as Intex's newbie has similar specifications, giving you a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 512MB of RAM. Speaking of the storage, both phones have a 4GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card with up to 32GB capacity.
Camera:
Speaking of the camera, the smartphone sports a 2MP fixed-focus rear-facing camera with flash and a VGA front camera. The Intex Aqua 3G Pro Q also has similar camera specs.

Battery:
The smartphone is equipped with 2,200mAh battery, which can offer up to 8 hours of talktime and 250 hours of standby time, as per the company claims.
Connectivity options:
Speaking of connectivity options, both phones include dual-SIM support with 3G network support on one SIM, and other standard features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3.5 mm audio jack.

Software:
In the software department, the Karbonn A91 Storm runs Andorid 5.1 Lollipop, and so does the Intex Aqua 3G Pro Q, topped with company's own customizations and features.
Colour options:
The Karbonn A91 Storm is available in blue, white and black color options, whereas Intex's smartphone will be available in Champagne, Grey, and White colours.
