LeEco Le Max 2 vs Samsung Galaxy S7: 8 Ways These Flagships Are Different
Today, the LeEco smartphones are available on the second flash sale. As per the company, both the Le 2 and Le Max 2 have received an overwhelming response from the buyers. This is evident from the registrations that have taken place for the flash sale.
Well, the flash sale of Le Max 2 is slated to debut at 1 PM today and the response from the buyers for the competitively priced LeEco phones is tremendous as there has been over 4.5 lakh registrations for the second flash sale.

In the meantime, the reason for such a great response is that LeEco has priced these smartphones competitively despite offering high-end specs. To be precise, the Le Max 2 could be a challenger to the high-end and flagship devices that exist in the market including the Samsung Galaxy S7 that is priced too high.

LeEco Le Max 2 vs Samsung Galaxy S7: Design
The Galaxy S7 adorns a glass and metal body design and it is superior, classy and sturdy. The device has a water resistance build and it is highly premium. On the other hand, the Le Max 2 features a beautifully and symmetrically designed body that is lighter and thinner than many rivals.
LeEco Le Max 2 vs Samsung Galaxy S7: Display
The Le Max 2 boasts a 5.7-inch IPS display with 2K 1440p screen resolution that results in a higher pixel density of 515 ppi. Also, there is Gorilla Glass 3 protection on board. In comparison, the screen on the Galaxy S7 is a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen that also carries a Quad HD 1440p resolution. With a smaller screen, the S7 has a better pixel density of 577 ppi. This one has Gorilla Glass 4 protection on top of the screen.
LeEco Le Max 2 vs Samsung Galaxy S7: Processor & Variants
Both the smartphones are powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor that is teamed up with Adreno 530 graphics. The Le Max 2 comes in two versions - one with 32 GB of default memory capacity and 4 GB RAM and the other with 64 GB of native storage space paired with 6 GB RAM.
The Galaxy S7 comes with similar storage variants but both have 4 GB RAM. While there is expandable storage support in the Samsung flagship supporting up to 256 GB additional storage, there is no micro SD card on the Le Max 2.
LeEco Le Max 2 vs Samsung Galaxy S7: Camera
The LeEco Le Max 2 boasts a 21 MP main snapper with f/2.0 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization, and dual-LED flash. Both the rear snappers can shoot 4K videos at 30 fps and 720p slow motion videos at 120 fps frame rate. The Le Max 2 features an 8 MP selfie snapper that has a better aperture of f/2.2.
In comparison, Samsung is focusing more on the pixel size than the pixel count. It uses a 12 MP camera on the Galaxy S7 with f/1.7 aperture to render a better performance even in low lighting conditions. At the front, there is a 5 MP camera with f/1.7 aperture as well.

The Le Max 2 runs on the EUI 5.6 on top of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It is highly customized by LeEco and it might now suit everyone. It lacks an app drawer and notification shortcuts as well. On the Samsung Galaxy S7, you get the company's TouchWiz UI.

The Le Max 2 and Galaxy S7 include connectivity aspects such as 4G LTE, NFC, charging port, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The Le Max 2 does not feature a 3.5 mm audio jack as it is the first CDLA technology enabled smartphone in the world. It can be used along with the CDLA earphones that give an exceptional audio performance in comparison to 3.5 mm jack. Both have fingerprint scanners as well on board. The Galaxy S7 lacks a USB Type-C port that is becoming the new standard.

Both the smartphones are powered by non-removable batteries. There is a 3,100 mAh battery in the Le Max 2 and a 3,000 mAh one in the Galaxy S7. Both support fast charging feature as well with the Quick Charge 2.0 from Qualcomm.
LeEco Le Max 2 vs Samsung Galaxy S7: Price
Well, the Le Max 2 comes with 32 GB and 64 GB of internal storage capacities that are accompanied by 4 GB and 6 GB RAM respectively. These models of the Le Max 2 are priced at Rs 22,999 and Rs 27,999 respectively. On the other hand, the Galaxy S7 is priced at starting Rs 48,900.
