Lenovo Phab 2 Launched in India at Rs. 11,999: 5 Key Features Worth Considering

Lenovo, after launching the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus in India, today unveiled its smaller brother, the Lenovo Phab 2. Priced at Rs. 11,999, the smartphone will come in two colour variants- Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold.

To recall, Lenovo unveiled the Phab 2 series of smartphones at the Lenovo tech world back in June. The Phab 2 is smallest of the three smartphones- Phab 2 Pro, Phab 2 Plus, and Phab 2.

The Lenovo Phab 2 comes with some downgraded specifications under-the-hood regarding display, hardware, and camera capabilities. Here are the top five features of the Lenovo Phab 2 launched today in the Indian market.
Comes with a 6.4-inch Display
The Lenovo Phab 2 comes with a 6.4-inch display, which is same as the other Phab 2 series of smartphones. However, the resolution in this smartphone is limited to just 720p, which is a letdown.
Mediocre Hardware
The Lenovo Phab 2 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8735 chipset and comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32GB of internal storage with support for expandable storage up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.
Slightly Downgraded Camera from Successors
The Lenovo Phab 2 sports a 13MP rear camera which has capabilities of augmented reality as well. On the front side, it comes with a 5MP sensor. The camera app is further tuned to support augmented reality.
Runs Android Marshmallow
The Lenovo Phab 2 runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow powered Vibe UI, which is Lenovo's in-house UI and comes with every Lenovo smartphone.
Armed with 4050mAh battery
The Lenovo Phab 2 comes with a 4050mAh battery capacity, which is expected to power the smartphone for two days with a single charge.
