Nokia 8 Sirocco Pre-order Started at rs 49,999 in Flipkart: Threat to other smartphones

HMD Global who manufactures smartphones under the brand logo of Nokia, launched the Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphone earlier this month in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 49,999 on the e-commerce website Flipkart. Airtel in collaboration with Nokia is also offering a cashback of Rs 2,000.

On the purchase of a Nokia 8 Sirocco buyers with Airtel connection will be eligible for a 20GB extra data of prepaid recharge of Rs 199 or Rs 349 for six months. On the side, postpaid users will also get 20GB extra data with recharge of Rs 399 or Rs 499.

The smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch OLED display along with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Nokia 8 Sirocco still stick with the 16:9 ratio screen. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

HMD has put up a strong statement with the launch of its new flagship which is capable of giving any other smartphone a run for their money.
