OnePlus 3 vs Apple iPhone 6s: Should You Choose a Mid-range Android or A Premium iOS Device
Last week, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 3 smartphone that is priced at Rs 27,999 and exclusive to the e-commerce retailer Amazon India. This is a flagship killer that will compete with a slew of mid-range and high-end smartphones in the market including the flagship models from other manufacturers.
Here, we compare the OnePlus 3 with a powerful flagship smartphone from Apple - the iPhone 6s. This comparison is mainly based on specs to know what the Chinese maker has in stock for its users that the iPhone 6s has included at a very expensive price tag.

The iPhone 6s is good looking smartphone with a lightweight form factor. But, there's no denying that the relatively less-priced OnePlus 3 is also such a device with the best-looking design from the stable of OnePlus.
HD vs 2K resolution Display
The OnePlus 3 boasts a 5.5-inch AMOLED FHD 1080p display that results in a pixel density of 401 ppi. The screen is a 2.5D curved glass one that makes it stand out from the competition in the mid-range price bracket. OnePlus dominates with 6 GB RAM
It won't be an exaggeration to say that OnePlus 3 is a powerhouse as it is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset that is paired with the Adreno 530 graphics. In comparison, the iPhone 6s employs the Apple A9 chipset with a dual-core processor and PowerVR GT7600 graphics.
The OnePlus 3 excels with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB native storage capacity. The iPhone 6s is available in three variants - 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB of storage and all these have 2 GB RAM.
Camera lovers have a higher MP count
There is a 16 MP camera on the Oneplus 3 along with PDAF, OIS, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and 4K video recording. At the front, the handset houses an 8 MP selfie camera that will handle the self portraits department.

Talking of the iPhone 6s, the smartphone boasts a 12 MP rear camera with OIS, 2160p video recording, PDAF, dual-LED flash, and HDR. Up front, it has a 5 MP front-facing camera as well.
iOS or Android - You need to Choose
The OnePlus 3 is based on Android Marshmallow topped with Oxygen OS. On the other hand, the iOS 9 runs on the iPhone 6s. The choice of the OS depends on your preference.
Dash Charger in OnePlus 3 is impressive
The OnePlus 3 has a high capacity 3,000 mAh battery with the fast charging feature with the Dash Charger that will give over a day of backup. This way, the OnePlus 3 can be charged even in your car and the charger is claimed to charge the battery up to 63 percent in just 30 minutes. In contrast, the iPhone 6s features a 1,750 mAh battery that can render 14 hours of talk time to the device.
OnePlus 3's fingerprint scanner is faster
There is a fingerprint scanner on the OnePlus 3 that makes the smartphone too safe and secure. It is faster as well giving enhanced security to the device. The iPhone 6s also has a fingerprint scanner at its front, but it is not as fast as the one in the OnePlus 3.
Other Features
OnePlus 3 comes with a USB Type-C port that assures faster data transfer than the micro USB ports. It is a dual-SIM smartphone adding to its benefits. On the other hand, Apple iPhone 6s has features such as 3D Touch that can sense the pressure sensitivity in the display and Live Photos as well.
