The Reno 8T 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS2.2 internal storage. The storage can be expanded using a microSD card.
The Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G is powered by a superior MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset instead of the Snapdragon 695 SoC. Moreover, buyers have the option to purchase the smartphone with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Both smartphones, however, can latch onto the 5G networks in India.
Oppo Reno 8T 5G Vs Realme 10 Pro Plus: Cameras
The Reno 8T 5G has a triple camera setup on the back, headlined by a 108MP main camera, which is paired with a 2MP depth sensor, and another 2MP macro lens. The smartphone can record 1080p videos at 30 FPS. There's a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.
Incidentally, even the Realme 10 Pro Plus gets a triple rear camera setup on the back, comprising a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP depth camera. There's a 16MP sensor at the front for selfies and video calls.
Needless to say, both smartphones have a 108MP primary camera. However, the Oppo smartphone has a 32MP front-facing camera while the Realme device gets a larger secondary camera lens.
Oppo Reno 8T 5G Vs Realme 10 Pro Plus: Battery
The Reno 8T has a 4,800mAh battery, which supports 67W Super VOOC wired fast charging. The Realme Realme 10 Pro Plus gets a slightly larger 5000mAh battery, which too, supports 67W wired fast charging.
There isn't much difference between the batteries powering the Realme and Oppo smartphones. Hence, battery endurance should largely depend on usage patterns.
Oppo Reno 8T 5G Vs Realme 10 Pro Plus: Which One To Buy?
There's no doubt Oppo Reno 8T 5G and the Realme 10 Pro Plus pack potent hardware and flaunt impressive displays. These devices can serve as the daily driver for nearly all smartphone users.
Incidentally, Oppo Reno 8T 5G and the Realme 10 Pro Plus are priced below ₹30,000. While the sticker prices of the 8GB variants of these devices may have breached the ₹25,000 mark, the 6GB + 128GB variant of the Realme smartphone is available at ₹24,999. Hence, the Realme 10 Pro Plus is a winner in this comparison.
