Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) Clears FCC: 5 Interesting Features to Expect from UPCOMING Smartphone
Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A7 (2017) model may be unveiled sometime in 2017.
Samsung is expected to launch its flagship Galaxy S8 sometime in 2017. But, before it showcases it’s upcoming flagship, it may probably release the updated version of Galaxy A7, the Galaxy A7 (2017). To recall, the South Korean tech giant has launched the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) in January this year.
Assuming that the company will follow the same time order, the Galaxy A7 (2017) may see the light of the day in early 2017 (January most likely). Although there is no official information available about the smartphone currently, several rumours and speculations have been doing rounds on the internet.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) has been certified by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and had recently cleared the Bluetooth certification. It had also been spotted on Zauba as well as other benchmarking web sites giving us some insights about what to expect from the smartphone.
Here’s everything we know so far.
Powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7870 chipset
The Galaxy A7 (2017) will be powered by an in-house 1.8GHz Exynos 7870 chipset as opposed to the Snapdragon 615 chipset as seen on the Galaxy A7 (2016) model. As per the rumours, it will pack 3GB of RAM and will come in two storage variants — 32GB and 64GB with support for further expansion of up to 256GB.
As per the leaks, it will be backed by a 3,500mAh battery.
Same old design and 5.5-inch (or 5.7-inch) display
The smartphone is expected to sport the typical Samsung’s design (a combination of glass and metal) with a 5.5-inch or a 5.7-inch display with Full HD resolution (1080x1920 pixels) which is kind of a norm for smartphones these days.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box
According to the numerous leaks and rumours, the Galaxy A7 (2017) is expected to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. However, there are a few rumours that the device will be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat after a few weeks of its release.
May be priced around Rs. 33,500
The Galaxy A7 (2016) model was launched with a price tag of Rs. 33,400, given this, we can expect the 2017 model to be priced similarly, if not more. As mentioned earlier, it may be launched in the first quarter of 2017, most likely in January.
