India is one of the largest smartphone markets in the world. In the last couple of months alone, we've had multiple smartphones, across different segments, debuting every week.
And while the primary focus has been on the mid-tier and flagship ranges, the ultra-affordable simply cannot be ignored. In the last few months, we've seen several OEMs release smartphones under Rs 10,000 in the country. So we've decided to put together a list of the top 10 smartphones under Rs 10,000 in India in 2024.

Moto G24 Power | Starts at Rs 8,499 | 4GB+128GB / 8GB+128GB
The Moto G24 Power is arguably the best smartphone under Rs 10,000 in India. What does it do to back this up? If you aren't convinced by the 6,000 mAh battery, 90Hz display, or Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, then you'll be pleased to know that the Moto G24 Power runs the latest Android 14 software.
For performance, it is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM, which should offer smooth multi-tasking performance. We'd also back Motorola's 50 MP Quad-Pixel Camera system and 16 MP selfie camera over the competition. Motorola offers the best of both worlds, hardware, and software, in the sub-10K smartphone segment.
Redmi 13C | Starts at Rs 7,999 | 4GB+128GB / 6GB+128GB / 8GB+256GB

The Redmi 13C also features a tall HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, and runs Android 13-based MIUI 14. While the Redmi 13C is not too different from other 4G phones on this list, it does offer excellent bang for your buck.
