For the past few months, there were no major changes in the popularity charts in the smartphone market. However, the much expected changes have come to existence in the week number 18 of this year. In the last week, the Xiaomi Mi 6X (global variant to be called Mi A2) surpassed the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Huawei P20 Pro taking the lead.

The other device to lose its position to the Mi A2 aka Mi 6X is the Oppo F7. Following the same is the Huawei P20 Lite, which is the most affordable model in the P20 series. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro has occupied the sixth position while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has regained the lost ground occupying the seventh spot.

The Vivo V9 and Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro have gone down to the eighth and ninth positions. Then comes the Xiaomi Mi A1, the Android One smartphone.
