The Vivo X200 series is all set to make its debut in China next week. The line-up will include the Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini. The Vivo X200 Pro will build on the same fundamentals as the X100 Pro, which was unveiled as the first smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC last year.

Moreover, it can compete with the likes of the iPhone 16 Pro models, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, and Pixel 9 Pro XL, despite falling under the one lakh-rupee mark.

Moreover, the upcoming Vivo X200 Pro Mini will be a smaller version of the Vivo X200 Pro. So without any delays, let's look at all the details about the upcoming Vivo X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini.

Vivo X200 Series Launch Details

The Vivo X200, X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini are launching in China on October 14. The launch event will take place at 19:00 local time or 16:30 IST.

As of now, there is no official announcement about the global launch of the Vivo X200 series, although we believe it will take place sometime in December 2024 or early January 2025. To recall, the Vivo X100 series made its debut in India in early January 2024 and was among the first flagships of the year to hit Indian soil.

Vivo X200 Pro, X200 Pro Mini Specifications

The Vivo X200 Pro models will debut as the first smartphones to use the newly launched 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. The MediaTek chip will bring several enhancements in performance, power efficiency, and AI capabilities. The chip will be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X "Ultra Pro" RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Vivo X200 series will come with Origin OS 5 out of the box.

The Vivo X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini will also be capable of 90fps gaming with "full-scene mobile ray tracing" (machine translated). The phone will feature a "micro-quad-curved" LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels. The panel will sport an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 453 PPI. The screen will also support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ and could reach a peak brightness of at least 4,000 nits.

The Vivo X200 Pro models will feature similar camera setups. They will use a 50MP Sony LYT-818 1/1.28" sensor with OIS paired with a 50MP ultrawide lens. However, the star of the show is an impressive 200MP periscope lens with an f/2.67 aperture and an 85mm focal length. However, the periscope shooter on the X200 Pro Mini will feature a 70mm focal length and an f/2.57 aperture.

The camera setup on the Vivo X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini are co-developed with ZEISS with ZEISS T* lens coating on the rear cameras. Additionally, the Vivo X200 Pro phones will also feature a new 135mm portrait mode with the standard 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 100mm focal lengths. The upcoming X200 Pro variants is set to deliver impressive slow-motion capabilities, offering 4K video at 120fps. Additionally, it introduces a feature called "4K Backlit Movie Portrait Video."

Vivo's semi-solid battery technology used on the X200 series will offer the highest energy density ever achieved in the industry. The phone could use a 6,000 mAh battery with 100W wired and 66W wireless fast charging support. Moreover, the X200 Pro Mini will pack a smaller cell, while charging speeds could also be nerfed. The Vivo X200 Pro will also pack dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

Vivo X200 Specifications

The vanilla Vivo X200 is expected to feature the same chipset X200 Pro. The vanilla model will get a 6.5-inch screen with the same specifications as the 'X200 Pro'. It will pack a 5,600 mAh battery with the same 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. The Vivo X200 is expected to pack dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

As of now the cameras on the Vivo X200 are unknown, but it will likely have the same ultrawide and selfie cameras as the X200 Pro. On the flip side, the Vivo X200 could get a downgraded 50MP primary sensor with OIS support as well as a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom.

Vivo X200 Series Design

The vivo X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini have been revealed in their complete colour palettes, showcasing a fresh, flat design that's new for Vivo. The company refers to this innovative look as a "full-depth micro-quadruple design," highlighting its sleek, modern aesthetic. We can expect to see a similar design on the Vivo X200. The Vivo X200 Pro models are also expected to feature an IP68 rating for resistance to dust and water.

Vivo X200 Series Pricing (Expected)

The standard Vivo X200 to feature a starting price of 3,999 Yuan (around Rs 47,850) for the 12GB/256GB model, 4,299 Yuan (around Rs 51,450) for the 16GB/256GB variant, 4,599 Yuan (around Rs 55,050) for the 16GB/512GB model, and the top-end 16GB/1TB model is listed with a price tag of 5,099 Yuan (around Rs 61,000).

While the Vivo X200 Pro price could start at 5,199 Yuan (around Rs 62,200) for the 16GB/256GB model and the 16GB/512GB model will cost 5,499 Yuan (around Rs 65,800). There will be two Satellite versions, priced at 5,699 Yuan (around Rs 68,200) for the 16GB/512GB model and 6,199 Yuan (around Rs 74,150) for the 16GB/1TB variant.

On the other hand, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini is tipped to start at 4,599 Yuan (around Rs 55,050) for the 12GB/256GB variant, 4,899 Yuan (around Rs 58,600) for the 16GB/256GB model and the 16GB/512GB version will cost 5,199 Yuan (around Rs 62,200).

We expect the Vivo X200 Pro price in India to start from under Rs 90,000. Additionally, the vanilla Vivo X200 price in the country could start from under Rs 65,000.
