Vivo X200 Series with MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC Launching Today: What to Expect? How to Watch Livestream?

The Vivo X200 series is set to make its debut in China later today. The line-up will include three smartphones including the Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, and Vivo X200 Pro Mini.

The Vivo X200 series will be the first to use the recently released MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. Apart from the chip, the Vivo X200 series will also get a flagship-grade set of cameras co-developed with ZEISS, while the 'Pro' model gets a 200MP periscope lens from the Vivo X100 Ultra.

Vivo X200 Series Launch, Expected Pricing

The Vivo X200 series launch is set to take place later today in China. The Vivo X200 launch event will kick off at 19:00 local time or 16:30 IST. Users can stream the Vivo X200 series event live from the company's official Weibo handle or Vivo's website in China.

We believe the Vivo X200 series launch in India will take place sometime in January 2025. Moreover, the Vivo X200 price in China will start from 3,999 Yuan (around Rs 47,850). On the other hand, the Vivo X200 Pro and Vivo X200 Pro Mini prices could start from 5,199 Yuan (around Rs 62,200) and 4,599 Yuan (around Rs 55,050), respectively.

Vivo X200 Pro, Pro Mini Specifications (Expected)

The Vivo X200 Pro models are powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, bringing significant improvements in performance, power efficiency, and AI capabilities. It offers up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, and runs Origin OS 5. Both models will feature dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The phones feature a 1260x2800 micro-quad-curved LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and 4,000 nits peak brightness. Gaming at 90fps with ray tracing is supported. The X200 Pro packs a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 66W wireless charging, while the Pro Mini has a smaller battery.

Both models include a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a ZEISS-co-developed 200MP periscope camera with OIS. The Pro Mini has slightly different periscope focal length and could get a 50MP sensor. The camera supports 4K video at 120fps and a new portrait mode with multiple focal lengths.

Vivo X200 Specifications (Expected)

The vanilla Vivo X200 is expected to feature the same chipset X200 Pro. The vanilla model will get a 6.5-inch screen with the same specifications as the 'X200 Pro'. It will pack a 5,600 mAh battery with the same 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. The Vivo X200 is expected to pack dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

As of now the cameras on the Vivo X200 are unknown, but it will likely have the same ultrawide and selfie cameras as the X200 Pro. On the flip side, the Vivo X200 could get a downgraded 50MP primary sensor with OIS support as well as a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom.
