After many rumors and speculations, Vivo has announced two smartphones - Vivo X7 and X7 Plus in its homeland China. Both the devices are available in Rose Gold as well as Gold color options.
Vivo has priced the Vivo X7 at 2,498 Yuan (approx. Rs 25,000) and it will be going on sale from July 7. The price of the Vivo X7 Plus is yet to be announced, but it will go on sale from July 15.
Both the smartphones feature a unibody metal design and feature a fingerprint scanner as well so that users can securely unlock their smartphones. Check out more details of these phones from below.

Vivo X7 and X7 Plus display
The Vivo X7 adorns a 5.2-inch FHD 1080p Super AMOLED display featuring 2.5D curved glass on top. On the other hand, the Vivo X7 Plus is fitted with a 5.7-inch display with the same resolution as the X7.
Both have similar hardware
Both the smartphones from Vivo have identical 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor paired with Adreno 510 graphics operating under their hood. Also, both have 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of non-expandable native storage support. The only difference is that the X7 Plus is also available in a 128 GB storage variant.
Camera is also identical
Both Vivo X7 and X7 Plus feature a 16 front-facer that has solt LED flash and an aperture of f/2.0. Apart from that the main snapper in the X7 is a 13 MP one with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture and PDAF whereas the one in the X7 Plus is a 16 MP sensor with the same aspects.
Vivo X7 and X7 Plus Software
Both these smartphones are based on Android 5.1 Lollipop topped with Funtouch OS 2.5.1. And, these are dual-SIM smartphones as well.
Vivo X7 and X7 Plus Connectivity
The Vivo X7 and X7 Plus arrive with connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS that are standard these days. Notably, they miss out on the USB Type-C port that is used by many smartphones that are launched lately.
Vivo X7 and X7 Plus Battery
The Vivo X7 is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery whereas the X7 Plus makes use of a 4,000 mAh battery. Both these batteries come with the fast charging feature as well to give a better backup within a few minutes of charging.
There is a fingerprint scanner on both these Vivo smartphones that make them highly secure. This scanner can unlock the smartphones quickly and to be precise in just 0.2 seconds.
