Weekly Roundup: Smartphones launched last week
Last week was quite eventful and we saw several handsets rolling into the Indian smartphone market. The week belonged to re-branded smartphones with handful of devices coming from three major manufacturer including Micromax, Panasonic and Nokia.
Panasonic has launched two new devices, Eluga A3 Pro and Eluga A3 in India which are just two of the 11 devices planned by the company. Eluga A3 and A3 Pro have been priced in the sub15k price segment.
Similarly, Micromax introduced Evok Dual Note to Indian consumers which is a dual camera smartphone priced at Rs. 9999. Micromax came back in the market with an eye-catchy design and it can be speculated that the device will gather consumers given the dual camera setup at a budget price range.
